Natural Wonder Events are a set of Player Events exclusive to the Community Events. This is a list of all possible Natural Wonder Events.

These events require a Natural Wonder within workable range of your City.

Barringer Crater - Earthshattering Kaboom[]

Merchants, seeking to exploit the situation surrounding the Barringer Crater, have come seeking your support in their venture.

The volcanic chasms around the crater make journeying across the countryside long and dangerous. The merchants wish to set up trading posts to service the various characters who make their living in the plains.

Having heard a theory, that the crater was created by an enormous iron meteor, the merchants wish to drill deep into the crater to secure the hypothetical motherload. They pledge part of the bounty in exchange for some government funding.

The recent validation of Barringer's hypothesis has made the Crater something of an icon in the astronomy community. The entrepreneurs wish to capitalize on this renewed interest and found a private space exploration corp in the vicinity of the crater.
